Journeys Reimagined Vegan & Photography Retreat Terms and Conditions

  1. Your contract is with Desmond Clark t/a Five Ten Twenty, a sole-trader company registered in the Netherlands with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (KVK) on 5th October 2020: 80496288

  2. In order to book and reserve a place on the trip, a deposit of €500 of the full trip fee is required to secure your place with the remaining balance to be paid no later than 42 days before the start of the trip.

  3. If you wish to cancel or withdraw from the trip, then the following applies:

    • if you cancel / withdraw 43 days or more prior to the beginning of the trip, the deposit is forfeited unless you find someone else to take your place.

    • if you cancel / withdraw 42 days or less prior to the beginning of the trip, then there is no refund.

    • If the balance of your trip fee has not been received 42 days before the trip starts, then we will write to you, at your last email address, to check your status. Failure to receive the balance forthwith will result in your place being lost and the deposit forfeited.

    • Leaving a trip mid-way, for any reason, will not result in a refund.

  4. Desmond Clark t/a Five Ten Twenty reserve the right to cancel a trip because of an inadequate number of participants (less than 2) making the trip uneconomically feasible to operate. In the event that a trip is cancelled prior to departure, you will receive a full refund of the monies paid.

  5. Travel insurance: For your protection, travel insurance is highly recommended.

  6. Desmond Clark t/a Five Ten Twenty shall not be held responsible for any injury, loss or damage due to delay, cancellation, or disruption in any manner caused by the laws, regulations, acts or failures to act, demands, orders, or interpositions of any government, or by acts of nature, strikes, fire, flood, war, terrorism, sickness, theft, or any other cause(s) beyond their control. The trip participant waives any claim against Desmond Clark t/a Five Ten Twenty and its designated tour leaders for any such loss, damage, injury, or death. Desmond Clark t/a Five Ten Twenty reserves the right in their sole discretion to accept, decline to accept or remove any participant on any trip. Desmond Clark t/a Five Ten Twenty reserves the right, without penalty, to make changes in the itinerary whenever, in their judgment, conditions warrants, or if they deem it necessary for the comfort, convenience, or safety of participants. You have assumed the responsibility to select an activity appropriate to your physical abilities and interests. You are personally responsible for being in sufficiently good health to undertake the activity.

  7. All bookings are accepted in the order received. Early booking advised given the limited spaces available.

  8. Eligibility: Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire journey.
